  1. You could have improved your information by contacting the Dorothy L. Sayers Society. There is a web site and probably some members in Seattle.
    She didn’t marry Anthony’s father because he was already married. His wife took DLS in at time of the birth. As far as keeping her child and/or making it public: the enormous difference in attitudes in 1924 and 2010 may be hard for any person under 70 to understand.
    It was disappointing for you to spend so much time on this detail of her life. She is so much more. You might read her Letters.
